Welcome to Chew Valley Animal Park

We are a fully licensed zoo with a wonderful range of interesting animals to discover. Our friendly rangers are on site to answer your questions. We also offer keeper talks and animal interaction experiences.

You can also adopt any of the animals! The adoption package includes a certificate, a personal information sheet of your chosen animal, your name next to their enclosure for a year, and a free day pass. Or, upgrade your day pass for an interactive session with your adopted friend!

Enjoy delicious food from our wonderful café or eat your own in our picnic area, grab a lovely lovely memento from our gift shop, or make a birthday a day to remember with our party packages.

No need to book your visit, please just turn up and pay on arrival.

Our Mission:

Alongside providing an enjoyable and informative day out, we hope to educate and inspire all generations to get involved and learn about wildlife conservation and welfare, sustainability, and the environment. During your visit, you can also enjoy the countryside views and the native wildlife inhabiting Chew Valley.

Adopt an animal

Anyone still stuck for gift ideas? Well how about adopting one of our animals for a year?

You can adopt Kevin the coati, Daphne the llama, or even Pebbles the capybara. All of our animals are available for adoption!

The package includes a free day pass to see your adopted animal, a certificate with a photo of your chosen animal, and a sign with your name on it will be placed next to the enclosure. For £45, all the money will go towards improving and enriching enclosures. If you are interested, please visit our online shop, message us, or speak to a member of staff on your next visit!

Amazing place to visit. Great for any age. Our children absolutely love it here and so do we. Very hands on. We even held baby goats and pigs!!! Food is lovely and the people are friendly! Great day out and good value.

Went to chew valley animal park today with friends & family & we all loved it. All the animals were adorable, goats, camels, chickens, pigs & they also had a baby foal. The staff were really friendly & so helpful, also there food was delish, esp their Victoria sandwiches. Will defo recommend & will be returning soon

We had a fantastic day at Chew Valley Animal Park, it’s a reasonable price to get in, staff are all friendly and welcoming, it’s really well layed out, lovely cafe, inside and outside seating, kids play park, spotlessly clean toilets and the animals all look happy and well cared for, we will be back.

100% recommend! Bargain for the experience. All the animals well looked after and such a great experience to feed some of the animals. staff were also very friendly, recommended it to lots of friends and family! loved the cheeky goats that were roaming etc and the piglets were so cute!

Spontaneous trip here today with my daughter and friends. Really impressed with the farm itself, very well looked after animals. Lovely friendly staff. Lovely food and all at a great price!! Highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again!!
